Hello I'm David the founder of FIND YOUR FOOD: The Bridge Between Producer and Plate. I hope that you find your experience at FIND YOUR FOOD to be helpful. Whether you are searching for your food or making your products known, thank you for taking the time to visit. I grew up on a small dairy farm in central Minnesota, and it is where my passion for farming began.  I could be found milking the cows, baling hay, working in the garden, taking care of the bees, etc. I love being outside and learning new things about the farm.

I graduated from South Dakota State University, and received my degree in Dairy Science. I took a horticulture class for one of my electives and became interested in growing fruits and vegetables, and selling directly to consumers. This interest continued to grow during one summer break working at a farm which sold CSA shares (Community Supported Agriculture). They raised layers, meat chickens, sheep and beef. I learned a lot and took it back home to our family's garden.

A college friend of mine introduced me to soil health and regenerative agriculture. I learned more about farmers selling their products directly to consumers.  After college I did a few years of missionary work and am currently helping out on my father in-law's farm.
